#### Oceanarium
 
**Parque das Nações, a dip into the Oceanarium.**The newest zone of the capital and the best example of the revitalisation and conversion of an industrial area into a residential and leisure area.
Set in a prime location on the riverside, it invites you to long strolls that end in a nature reserve.
It is here too that you’ll be able to visit the oceanarium, one of the biggest in Europe, and observe the fauna and flora of the various oceans.

- The famous *Bairro Alto* , the picturesque neighborhood where Lisbon's nightlife happens from bar to bar.
 - Take the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view that the *Santa Justa elevator* offers you, to visit the *ruins of Carmo* and numerous churches.
 - You can also go down towards *Terreiro do Paço* and find yourself in the most monumental square in the city, with the *Tagus* as a backdrop.
 - Don't leave without first tasting an ex libris of Portuguese pastry: *pastel de belém* . You have to queue at the door, but it's worth the wait.

#### And finally, shall we go shopping?

 
Part of the experience of those visiting a city and when you’re in the centre, it’s even more appealing.
In 10 minutes, walk down Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo and you’ll reach Avenida da Liberdade, the “boulevard” of the major luxury brands and designers that are a *“must”.*Other excellent suggestions to be found nearby are the *Amoreiras shopping centre* and *El Corte Inglès.*
